Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

This September I will be running my 2nd Ultra Marathon, this time in the Peak District. This time I will be running to raise money for Diabetes UK to aid in their fight against this terrible condition.

For as long as I can remember I have seen the effects of Diabetes on people, the earliest memories would be of my Grandad testing his blood to see if he could have a single square of Chocolate at lunch time. Then it hit home even harder a few years ago when we very nearly lost my mum to undiagnosed diabetes and I now see what she has to do every day to keep it in check.  That Is why I want to help battle this condition to make it easier for people to control and hopefully one day find a cure.

Now what I am doing, I am taking on Ultra X 50 England, a 50 km/31 mile race around the dark peaks with 2000m of climb and taking in the likes of Mam Tor, Lose Hill, Cannon Hill, Lords Seat and Jacob's Ladder. This will really test me with all of the climbing.

I hope you will be able to support me with this and donate to help battle this horrible condition that affects millions every day.
