Health Poverty Action acts in solidarity with health workers, activists and communities worldwide to improve health and challenge causes of poverty. We approach health as an issue of social justice, prioritising those missed out by others and address the full range of factors which impact on health.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page where I aim to raise money for the fantastic charity Health Poverty Action by running London Marathon on April 17th.

Health Poverty Action is focused on the close link between poverty and health, which unfortunately go hand in hand. They aim to improve the health of the poorest and most marginlised people on earth by using a comprehensive approach, focusing not only on health services but also on water, sanitation and nutrition. Things we all take for granted. Check out their page here (http://www.healthpovertyaction.org/about-us/).

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - we raise more, whilst saving time and cutting crucial costs for the charity.

My employer will match the amount raised so this is a great chance to really help people in need. Please dig deep and donate something now.
