We have decided to take part in the London Memory Walk to raise money for research into dementia, and to help people living with dementia - currently over 700,000 people in the UK.  We will be walking 5 miles around London on 20th September, and would really appreciate your support.

The Alzheimer's Society is a special charity for us, as our granddad (and Mum's dad) suffered from dementia in the last months of his life, which had a big effect on all of us.  We want to raise some money to try to make a difference to others in the same position, and help fund research into finding effective treatments for dementia.  The Alzheimer's Society invest around £1.5million each year in dementia research, as well as running local support centres across the UK, and offering help and support online and over the phone.  Without the money raised from their annual Memory Walks, none of this would be possible.

So please, dig deep for this fantastic cause - the thought of your support and donations will keep us going when we start flagging around the 4-mile mark!  Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure.
