The Salvation Army Maidstone is calling on Maidstone's community to donate to it's Christmas appeal that will support families in need over the Christmas season.

Sadly, we know that this will be a really tough Christmas for local families as many have faced job losses and reduced income due to the impact of the coronavirus pandemic.  We are expecting the number of people requesting help to be greater this year, so thank you for helping us to share some hope this Christmas.

It is not possible for us to collect, quarantine and distribute the thousands of toys that we normally would and so we have thought long and hard in order to find another way this year.  We are working with The Entertainer and other high street stores to be able bulk buy gift cards which we will then distribute to families via our networks, schools and social services. 

By donating to our appeal you can remind families facing a tough winter that their community cares.  Thank you for helping to shine a light in the darkness for people who are struggling and in need at this special time of year.
