Walking in memory for Michael Stephens

Maidstone Memory Walk 2024 · 7 September 2024 ·
My grandad was the most hard-working, inspirational and funny person I have ever met. When he got diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease it was hard on all of us to see him fade before our eyes. My grandad sadly passed away June of this year which was devastating to me and all the family.
He was well loved by our family and his friends and will forever be greatly missed❤️
I want to do this walk in memory of him. To show and talk about how much of a great man he was and to make him proud.
I would like to Raise money to help other families going through the same thing and help put money towards research to help find a cure.
Any donations will be really appreciated no matter big or small!
Thank you :)

Dementia is the UKs biggest killer. Someone develops it every three minutes and currently there is no cure. We know it is scary but we must confront the biggest health & social care challenge of our time. We owe it to the 900,000 people across the UK currently living with dementia to campaign for change, whilst providing vital day-to-day support. By taking part and raising money, or donating to someone who is, you are helping to do this.
Once you donate, JustGiving sends your money directly to Alzheimer's Society you don't need to do anything and it's the most efficient way to fundraise. So, who will you walk for? #MemoryWalk
