Headcase raises funds for research to find a cure for the most common adult primary brain tumour - a Glioblastoma Multiforme or GBM. GBMs are incurable and kill 5000 adults each year in the UK . Headcase is staffed entirely by volunteers and will be funding PhD research in labs across the UK.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page to raise money for Headcase Cancer Trust.

Headcase itself raises money for research into the most common form of adult primary brain tumour - a Glioblastoma Multiforme, or GBM for short. It's an incurable condition with life expectancy of just 12 months. Check out the website - www.headcase.org.uk.

So what it is that we are doing? Well... we're taking part in Pedal The Pyrenees (www.pedal-the-pyrenees.com). It's a week long ride across The Pyrenees... a mere 700km with around 14,750m of uphill riding (that's Everest 1.5 times!).

Pedal The Pyrenees is non-profit making and donates 100% of its profits to Headcase Cancer Trust, and like Headcase it's staffed entirely by volunteers. All of us have paid our own costs to enter the ride, so 100% of your further donations will be going straight to Headcase Cancer Trust.

Please donate what you can to play your part in finding a cure for an incurable disease.

Big Thanks!

Carol, Sibs, Jess, Chris K, Chris H, Dan, Mark, Dave & Col
