Stephanie Moore MBE set up the Bobby Moore Fund in partnership with Cancer Research UK, following the death of her husband, Bobby Moore, from bowel cancer. The Bobby Moore Fund is now a leader in the fight against bowel cancer, funding research that’s helping more people to survive than ever before.

Story

On Wednesday 18 April 2012, Broadgate Mainland will host the inaugural ‘Neil Mainland Go-Karting Cup’ charity event at the Tower Bridge Team Sport indoor karting centre.

The Bobby Moore Fund was set up in memory of legendary footballer Bobby Moore, who sadly died from bowel cancer aged just 51.Neil died from cancer but spent many years karting with his son Angus and this event is a fitting tribute to Neil.

There are 16 teams in all - mainly from Neil's business colleagues and associates - we though are now entering two teams of Neil's family and friends.  Angus leads one team which includes Neil's brother Keith and friend Julian Perry.  Roger Flaxman and daughter Sophie with Nicky Perry are the second team.

Many people have already shown their enthusiams and generosity for the event and the charity - so please join them, dig deep and donate now.
