Stephanie Moore MBE set up the Bobby Moore Fund in partnership with Cancer Research UK, following the death of her husband, Bobby Moore, from bowel cancer. The Bobby Moore Fund is now a leader in the fight against bowel cancer, funding research that’s helping more people to survive than ever before.

Story

On Wednesday 22nd May 2013, Broadgate Mainland will host the second running of the ‘Neil Mainland Go-Karting Cup’ charity event at the Tower Bridge Team Sport indoor karting centre.

The Bobby Moore Fund was set up in memory of the legendary footballer who sadly died from bowel cancer aged just 51.  Neil died from cancer but spent many years karting with his son Angus and this event is a fitting tribute to Neil.

There are 16 teams in all - mainly from Neil's business colleagues and associates - we are entering the family and friends team.  Angus leads the team with Danny Cooke, and Julian Perry.

Last year the event was great fun and we raised a bundle for our charity.  We came third on the event and this year are looking for one better ... in fact two better - we are in it to win it!

So please dig deep and donate now.
