Story
Ciaran and I are walking 21 miles during Downs Syndrome Awareness Week, 15 to 21 March 2021.
We want to not only support a wonderful charity, Downs Syndrome Scotland, but also encourage positive attitudes towards people with the conditiion
Even in these times, there is still a stigma attached to Downs Syndrome and a great deal of pressure to reduce the number of Downs births.
We want to help change attitudes and make sure people with that extra chromosome (chromosome 21) have the same chances as everyone else to fulfil their potential ❤️
