Story
Hi!
We are Maite and Luis, parents of little Sofía, who was born with Microtia. Since she born, we are committed with Microtia UK by fundraising through the sells of small merchandising but now a few good friends Xavier Soler, Alberto Chivite and a brave team from SP Energy Networks decided to make a step further by fundraising through a few huge challenges.
First challenge Xavier Soler running a 50 miles (80km) in Lake District!!!. ACHIEVED!!!!!The lakeland 50 is one of the greatest ultra running and walking challenges in Europe. Come on Xavier!!! Hope you all understand the dimension of the challenge. We are all shocked about the challenge and the effort done by Xavi,
Second challenge achieved!!!. Raft Race at Chester in the River Dee. A group of brave members of SP Energy Networks team participated past Sunday supporting Microtia UK. The team was formed by Carys Davies, Krista Norden, William Sutcliffe, Lee Ingham, Mark Sobczak, Josh Sobczak, Scott Irvine (the great captain) and me, Luis Rodriguez. Thanks to all participants and their efforts.
Third challenge half marathon in Warrington by Albert Chivite. Also achieved during past September!!! Our brave friend Alberto training during a long time, making this a challenge to be supported. Well done Alberto!!!
We would like to ask for your support in helping both Xavier, Alberto and SP Energy Networks Raft Race team in supporting Microtia UK.Our little Sofia and all kids with similar hearing impairment will always be pleased and this will encourage us even more in supporting Microtia UK in their committments and research in order to improve their lives.
We would like also to take the opportunity to say thanks to all offline donations received during past summer from Cintruenigo friends. It worths to be mentioned both Garganchon and Cutustrus groups for the support, thanks to all of you.
