Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my justgiving page.

Our little beautiful Maja is going to be two in three months and we are pretty sure that the greatest gift of all would be helping the research on her very "special tatoo" to progress and get good results.

As you might know, in fact, Maja was born with what is called Congenital Melanocytic Naevus, ie, a big big birthmark on her leg and belly.

Beside the great support of our family and friends, we have been helped by an exceptional group of doctors and professionals who have been available to us all along the way.

Caring Matters Now - CMN (www.caringmattersnow.co.uk), in particular, is a not-for-profit organization set up by Jodi Unsworth, a young and very brave girl affected by CMN in order to provide support and advices to those facing the physical and emotional strains associated with CMN.

Caring Matters Now is committed to raising funds each year for the CMN medical research which is taking place at Great Ormond Street Hopital and is the sole funding source of CMN Research at GOSH.

We would be extremely grateful if you could help us raising £5,000 by 16 of December 2010, ie, Maja's second birthday.

Giving a little contribution to the research which could help Maja and other children affected by this condition would be the GREATEST gift that you could make to Maja (and to us!!!).

I am sure that getting a treatment to her condition would be much more appreciated than any toy or sweet anyone could ever give her!!
