We are due to sweat it out, get up to our necks in mud & soaking wet through to our pants by taking part in the Major Series South 10km Military Obstacle course on Saturday 19th October in Tunbridge Wells in aid of SSAFA.

SSAFA (Soldiers, Sailors and Families Association) provide practical, emotional and financial support to anyone who is serving, and has ever served in the military, aswell as their families. This charity remains close to our hearts following month long stays at a SSAFA run house for injured servicemens families. Both Hannah & Nicki's husbands; LCpl Murray Hambro and Cpl Graeme Billington were critically injured in separate incidents when their armoured vehicles came into contact with IED's during an operational tour of Afghanistan in December 2010/January 2011. Both men underwent extensive treatment at The Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham, and the soldiers families were provided accommodation at SSAFA ran Norton House in Selly Oak (5 minutes from the hospital) which not only meant that the families did not have travel/hotel expenses to fork out, but also allowed them to stay in a caring, empathetic environment with families going through similiar experiences.
