Here at Makanyi, our hearts ache for our cousins in the Australian bush. We can only imagine the horror of losing our wonderful wild home and its myriad of inhabitants and we want to do what we can to offer support from afar.

We would therefore be delighted to offer 2 people the opportunity to WIN a 3-night stay in our bush home, Makanyi Private Game Lodge. Your donation will go directly to WIRES Wildfire Rescue in Australia who have committed to allocate funding and support to all states and territories where needed to assist as many animals as possible affected by this crisis.

The Terms:

Every A$20 donated will give one draw entry to win 3 nights at Makanyi Private Game Lodge in the Timbavati Private Nature Reserve, South Africa. Accommodation is included in a luxury suite for up to 2 people sharing*, and includes all game drives, lodge activities (excluding spa treatments), all meals & drinks.

The nights are available from February 1, 2020 - February 28, 2021 (excluding peak holiday season from December 20 – January 6) and are subject to availability at the time of booking.

Flights and transfers to/from the lodge are excluded, and a Timbavati Conservation Levy of R 400* per person per night is payable locally, subject to change. *This rate is for 2020.

* We regret that we do not accept children under the age of 14

*Should the winner wish to extend their stay, they can book additional nights with our reservations team, however, our specials will not be valid.
