Families urgently need your help. A second cyclone - Cyclone Kenneth - struck barely a month after the devastating Cyclone Idai. The cyclones tore through Southern Africa unleashing a trail of devastating destruction.Families have lost their homes. Many have lost loved ones.

With people in need of urgent assistance, the situation across Mozambique, Zimbabwe and Malawi is desperate. Act now and you will help save lives. Your donation today will make a difference.

The Red Cross are on the ground now, providing vital aid and search and rescue support.

We are running several schemes and sales throughout 2019 to make as much money as we possibly can to help the victims of these devastating cyclones:

• the Music for Mozambique fundraiser scheme, in which the winner will receive a home-made music album composed just for them

• sales of home-made peri peri in our workplace
• crafting and selling bags, scrunchies, cushion covers (and more) from beautiful Mozambican fabrics

Please note: The Cyclone Appeal will cover countries currently affected by the recent weather system, and those potentially affected in the future. In the unlikely event that we raise more money than can be reasonably and efficiently spent, any surplus funds will be used to help us prepare for and respond to other humanitarian disasters anywhere in the world.
