If you're visiting this page it's because you've been asked to sponsor Emily, Mairi, Kathleen, Natalie, Eve, Caroline, Rania, Katie W, Jackie, Katie B, Janet, Eleanor, Denyse or Lynn as we ran the Glasgow Womens 10K on May 10th and yes we all did it - Well done everyone!!
As many of you know Emily is currently working in Queen Elizabeth Central Hospital Blantyre, Malawi. Having recently visited Emily and seen the paediatric surgical ward, we decided to get a group of ladies together to help raise money to improve the conditions there. To date we have already painted bright murals on the walls and replaced all the beds and cots, which has made a big difference. We have been greatly encouraged to carry on to try and improve things further by patients and staff. One of the guardians even said "Thank you for giving us some dignity". And with your help we could do so much more.
Thank you for visiting our site, if you can sponsor us any amount we will be very grateful.
So please sponsor us now!!
Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor us: The Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
Emily's secondment to Malawi has been generously supported by funds from
