Story
My mother was superwoman. She was an active and energetic person who was always ready, willing and able to help family and friends in need. Whether it was taking a friend to a doctor's appointment or staying with a relative after a major surgery, she was someone who you could count on to get stuck in. Since her official diagnosis in 2018, mom hasn't been the superwoman we've all known. She now struggles as she is losing her super powers and it hurts to see her decline. I thought about her fight with this illness and thought about what would she do. She would want to help. So in the spirit of my mother, I am asking you donate to my "Quit for a Bit" fundraiser as I give up sugar and alcohol for the month of November.
