Malcolm's challenge to run 10 marathons in 10 days.

Brathay 10in10, 10 Marathons in 10 Days · 10 May 2013
10 Marathons in 10 days. Yes that's right, I plan to run round the testing, hilly Lake Windermere marathon course 10 times in 10 days.
I've done it once before, back in 2011 and to this day I'm not sure how!
Was once a fluke or can I do it again?
Follow me on my journey as I prepare to do it again and during the event from 10th to 19th May 2013, at my blog:-

This event and the main Brathay Windermere marathon on 19 May (where about 1000 people will run) is arranged by the Brathay Trust, they are a charity and all money made by the race goes to help them do their work with young vulnerable people. As far as I know this is the only marathon arranged in the UK which is run by a charity and all profits go to that charity. Brathay deliver community programmes through schools and councils, backed up with residentials at their hall in Ambleside. They also run the Low Bank Ground centre in Coniston for Wigan Council, supporting and helping develop thousands of children and young people in the North West every year.
A few years ago I used to think running 1 marathon was difficult now I'm attempting to run 10 straight after each other for the second time. It's a BRUTAL challenge both mentally and physically but also thoroughly rewarding.
Help me raise money to help Brathay and make all my pain worth while. If you feel at all inspired enough to sponsor me and send a donation I will be much appreciated it and the Brathay Trust will be very grateful.
