Event: Walk to Huddersfield, on 2 January 2019
Burnley FC Chairman Mike Garlick will be leading a 26-mile walk from Burnley FC's Turf Moor to Huddersfield Town FC's John Smith's Stadium on the 2nd January 2019, in order to raise money for Burnley FC in Community (BFCitC) and Alzheimer's Society.

Story

I decided to join  Burnley FCs Chairman Mike Garlick  as he leads a sponsored walk from Turf Moor to the John Smiths Stadium on Wednesday 2nd January 2019, in aid of Alzheimers Society and Burnley FC in the Community, They do a great job in the community, and having seen the effect of Alzheimers on people and there loved ones,  feel its a way i can help, also thanks to the generosity of Mike Garlick,he will personally double the walkers donations over 300 pounds, If some of you have already signed up and donated ,Thank you very much, please pass on to others  ,Cheers Malcolm.

.In a reversal of the route recently undertaken by Huddersfield fans, the 26-mile walk will begin at 8am from Turf Moor and will aim to arrive at the John Smiths stadium at approximately 6pm, prior to the Clarets kick-off vs Huddersfield Town FC at 7:45pm. There is also the option to join the Walk for the final five miles from a meet point in Elland. All funds raised from the event will be split 50/50 between Alzheimers Society and Burnley FCs official charity, Burnley FC in the Community.
