As you may or may not know I am taking part in a sponsored cycle challenge covering the distance between Venice and Genoa (some 400 miles) between September 17th and 21st 2013.

 

The object of this exercise is to raise as much money as possible for Sparks. This charity, whose chairman is one of my closest friends; Jonathan Britton, funds a huge amount of research into serious conditions affecting the health of babies, children and mothers to be.
