The National Autistic Society is here to transform lives, change attitudes and create a society that works for autistic people. There is still so much to do to increase opportunities, reduce social isolation and build a brighter future for autistic people. With your help, we can make it happen.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

In 2015 I started to change my life by losing weight and becoming a healthier happier person and in doing so discovered cycling. I also discovered that cycling with a purpose meant so much more so decided to combine it with raising money for charity and moreover charities that mean something to me.

This year is a very special year for me and more importantly my boy Bradley who has been diagnosed with Autism. He is really well looked after by his school but he has a daily battle with this condition and some days are very dark and some are truly magnificent. He is so brave trying to deal with this and is now at the age where he is trying to understand the condition as well as manage it and because of that WE would both like to use this year to raise funds for the National Autistic society.

I will be riding the 100 mile Prudential RideLondon which is a tough 1 day challenge but we really wanted to step up the game this year. So in August I will be riding from home to Lands End -  AND BACK over 4 days. The route is approx. 450 miles but on day 4 -  Bradley will join me for his own 50 mile charity ride as we ride the last leg together. This will be both a rewarding and emotional experience and one that i truly thank you all for supporting now how big or small every penny really does count.
