Well, I did it! Very hot and sweaty day, but every step was worth it. Completed the course in 4hrs 35mins which I'm happy with for a first attempt and given the weather.

I couldn't have done it without the incredible support of everyone who sponsored me, it was such a major incentive. It's not too late for anyone who would still like to donate to this worthwhile charity... it may help heal my aching legs!

22nd April this year I'll be running the London Marathon as part of a personal goal and also to raise funds for Mencap, a charity very close to my own heart.

Mencap have offered opportunities to my Sister and parents to make life a little easier and enjoyable. I'd like to do my part to make sure many more people with learning difficulties benefit from their work.
