🕷HAPPY HALLOWEEN🕷
This Halloween, Manchester Marrow is throwing a Spooky quiz night at the Students' Union Bar on the 26th of October 2021!
Did you know?: Lifesaving is a pricey business. It costs £40 to add each potential donor to the register.
Rules (don't worry, they're not scary):
- Entry is a donation of £2 through our JustGiving page OR come in person and pay us in cash (please use your full name so we can find you on our entry list!)
- The more the merrier! (Oops, wrong holiday) Bring your mates and make it a team effort (or maybe you just want bragging rights)
- Bonus points if you come dressed up 🧛🏼♀️
Who knows...you might just win a frightful prize....🏆
Manchester Marrow is a part of the network of lifesaving students who work with the blood cancer charity, Anthony Nolan. There are over 50 Marrow groups, with hundreds of student volunteers (like us!) in universities across the country, who are all working towards one thing - saving the lives of people with blood cancer.
Every 14 minutes someone in the UK is diagnosed with blood cancer. For someone with blood cancer, a stem cell transplant could be their last chance of survival.
Every day, Anthony Nolan saves the lives of people with a blood cancer or blood disorder. We do this by matching incredible individuals willing to donate their stem cells to people who desperately need a lifesaving transplant. We also carry out cutting edge scientific research, fund specialist post-transplant nurses and support patients and their families through the transplant process and beyond.
We won’t stop until we save the lives of everyone who needs a stem cell transplant. Every penny you donate brings us closer to that day.
