SUPPORT US IN OUR 12 FEARLESS FIREWALKS ACROSS THE COUNTRY IN 2016! THIS TIME... MANCHESTER!!!
HELP US FIRE UP THE PATH TO SUSTAINABLE EDUCATION AND CHANGE LIVES.
Please join us on this fearless fire walking challenge to help raise money for our sustainable education project in the rural community we support in Malawi.
We want to raise £60,000 to support our sustainable education model changing the lives of an entire village in Malawi.
Our model of sustainable education means that 800 children will receive an education but in addition empowers the community to take responsibility for the provision of its own education and enterprise opportunities.
Our model provides six ways of tackling poverty;
1. Water holes to stop disease and prevent children walking up to 10k a day to get water instead of attending school.
2. Nutrition and food in the form of permaculture and planting.
3. Health checks in the school buildings, pop up clinics and malaria testing.
4. Enterprise opportunities in the form of cooperative business projects and micro loans.
5. Education in the form of 4 school blocks, resources and teachers.
6. Clean solar power energy to enable study at night and to encourage small enterprise.
We have 12 fire walks planned around the country to raise our target.
