Byte Night Manchester · 2 October 2009 ·

We protect and support children and young people, providing practical and emotional care and support. We ensure their voices are heard, and campaign to bring lasting improvements to their lives. Our vision is that every child and young person has a safe and happy childhood, and the foundations they need to thrive.

Story

Many thanks for looking at our JustGiving page!  On Friday 2 October we will be ‘sleeping rough’ for one night in Manchester city centre as part of an event called 'Byte Night'.  The purpose of the event is to experience a little of what it might be like to be homeless.  This is the first time we have each signed up to Byte Night and any money we raise as part of the Ernst & Young Manchester Advisory team, will help 'Action for Children' tackle the root causes of youth homelessness and help to get children and young people off the streets and into secure accommodation with education and training opportunities.

As you know us, you will know we’re all used to our home comforts and you will appreciate that this is not going to be an easy night, but we’re all excited about this challenge and would greatly appreciate your support to make it all worthwhile.  So please dig deep and donate now!

It's easy to donate online with a credit or debit card through JustGiving.  Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer.
