Great Manchester Run 2018 · 20 May 2018 ·

We are here to support young people with their emotional well-being and mental health by offering a choice of effective, creative, young person-centred and rights-based approaches.

Story

Amy, Louise, Sally and Alan are running the Great Manchester Run 10k on 20th May 2018 and we need your support!

Growing up in Manchester (except Alan), with no inclination towards sports (except Alan), we thought it was time to buy some running trainers, get a little out of breath and do a bit of fundraising at the same time!

In memory of Amy's brother, we’re raising money for a small mental health charity called 42nd Street which offers support to young people (age 11-25) in Manchester, Trafford, Salford and Tameside. Their services include counselling and therapy sessions, individual support, youth work and an arts and cultural programme.

Their vision is to support young people under stress to achieve their full potential. Please help us support 42nd Street in their vision! Any contributions would be gratefully received and would help motivate us around the course :) thanks!
