Manchester Virtual Youth Choir for NSPCC and Childline

Manchester Virtual Youth Choir for NSPCC and Childline · 29 July 2020
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
During the 1st Covid lockdown in 2020 in the UK a group of amazing young singers came together through their teacher (Phil Reynolds) to create a virtual youth choir in Manchester, UK.
The aim was is to raise awareness of mental health issues in young people who may be feeling isolated, alone and desperate for lots of reasons, and we raised over £500 for the NSPCC & Childline.
Almost a year later we have teamed up again with both the NSPCC and famous TV and stage actress Sue Devaney to create another video to promote the first ever 'National Childhood Day' and raise more funds to support children's mental health at a time when it is needed more than ever.
In addition, Phil (choir leader and vocal coach) will be running the Manchester 10k in September 2021 (and hopefully a marathon in 2022!) to continue the fundraising efforts (his first serious running in over 15 years - yikes!).
Much of the charity's planned fundraising was cancelled in 2020 due to Covid and yet their services are more in demand than ever before.
Please watch the new video (Jess Glynne's 'These Days', arranged by the fabulous Mark De Lisser) and donate to this worthy cause. Please watch our original video on YouTube and subscribe to the page for more videos this summer and donate whatever you can!
