So...it has been a while since I participated in a run/marathon/bike ride. So thought I would set myself the challenge of taking part in the Birmingham Half Marathon this October and raise some money for charity in the process. I have chosen to raise money for Anthony Nolan which is a fantastic charity and having personally seen some of the great work they do, I can assure you your money will be going to a very worthy cause!

Anthony Nolan saves the lives of people with blood cancer - every day they match donors willing to donate their blood stem cells to people who desperately need lifesaving transplants. They have to spend a colossal amount of money on gathering stem cell samples, maintaining their database and matching donors - just getting a single person onto the register costs £100! So please donate what you can - any donation is much much appreciated.
