It's bewildering and unsettling for anyone going into hospital but especially for children and that is why we are a fundraising hospital. We raise funds to enhance the experience of our patients by providing state of the art medical equipment and facilities and creating a child-friendly environment.

Story

Melissa & I completed our challenge of Diving with the Sharks on 23rd January - what an experience - one that I would highly recommend to all - I've uploaded some more photos.  I'm so glad we have done this for ourselves & for Poppy xxxx

Thank you to everyone who has sponsored us both on here & the old fashioned way!

I MAY HAVE REACHED MY TARGET BUT PLEASE STILL DONATE!!!

Myself & Melissa (my 11 year old daughter) are doing a SHARK DIVE on Saturday 23rd January 2010 at the Blue Planet Aquarium in Chester & we thought it would be good to help raise funds for the Poppy Fields Appeal.  We are both qualified PADI Open Water Divers.

Poppy Fields Charity was set up because of Poppy who is now a 6 year old girl was diagnosed with having a brain tumor at 14-months of age - this brain tumor was treated at Birmingham Children's Hospital - to date the charity has raised over £93,000 to help support families with children affected by brain tumors.

I have supposed this fantastic cause through working at Mercedes-Benz Tamworth in the past through donating raffle prizes.

So every little helps - any donation would be greatly accepted and appreciated.
