The Kiltwalk is Scotland's largest mass participation walking event, with four different locations and different distances to complete on offer there is something for everyone to take part in - even your furry companions.

Story

So, I’m doing a thing. 4 things actually.

Glasgow, Aberdeen, Dundee & Edinburgh’s Kiltwalk events - each one at about 22 miles.

I’ve always wished I could do a marathon but those that know me, know I’m no runner! So instead of running one - I thought “I know, I’ll walk four!” 🤷‍♀️

Last year I was diagnosed with bowel cancer. I was lucky it was caught early and dealt with quickly, thanks to the amazing teams at The Raigmore Colorectal Unit and The MacMillan Suite, Inverness.

Dame Deborah James put it perfectly… check your poo.  And I will forever be grateful that I did.

About Bowel Cancer UK - We’re the UK’s leading bowel cancer charity. We fund targeted research, provide expert information and support to patients and their families, educate the public and professionals about the disease and campaign for early diagnosis and access to best treatment and care. We’re here to stop people dying of bowel cancer.
