We are taking part in the 2010 Playtex Moonwalk in memory of our friend Jackie Greenwood who sadly passed away due to  cancer on the 3rd March 2010.  She leaves behind three beautiful daughters as well as a devoted husband and a large loving family.

We decided on the name 'Team Greenwood' for two reasons.  At the time of applying for the walk Jackie was alive and fighting the cancer.  She is an inspiration to anyone who knew her and I wanted to raise money in her name for anyone who is touched by this disease.   I am also walking with another friend who is also called Jackie Greenwood!  So the name came easily and was fitting.

Our aim is to raise money for research which we would hope could go towards avoiding another family suffering such a huge loss of a loved one.
