Thank you for taking the time to read the story behind my continuous support to raise money for Cancer Research UK.

On the 9th May 2011 my cousin Mel lost her life to Cancer, she was the most amazing, inspirational person who fought this terrible disease for almost five years. I started fundraising for Cancer Research in memory of my granddad that also lost his life to Cancer. I entered my first Race for Life in 2001 and have organised many events, cakes sales, clothes sales etc over the years raising thousands of pounds. The most memorable achievement was completing the London Marathon in 2010. Myself and Abbie will be running the 2012 Cancer Research Race for Life on Sunday 27th May.
