I am choosing to run the New York Marathon on Team Tina’s Wish to: 

(i) honor the memory of my cousin who was diagnosed with ovarian cancer and shortly passed away

(ii) spread awareness about ovarian cancer where over 80% of patients are diagnosed at an advanced stage when the tumor has metastasized and treatment less effective

(iii) raise funds to support scientific research for the early detection and prevention of ovarian cancer.
