My life was shattered on the 13th June 2013 when my beautiful, wonderful daughter Alicia was taken from me by a terrible illness.I had to let her go for I had no other choice. I have searched for answers and asked endless questions why, yet still I cannot understand no matter how I try.

To ensure Alicia's memory lives on and celebrate her positive nature and mindset. Her family have set up this charity. Our aim is to  help support children and young people who are faced with life threatening illness and the devastating impact this has on those affected.  We will do this by raising funds.

Any money raised from my participation in this event will be used to support The Teenage Cancer Trust and Zoe's Place (a children's hospice).
