Hello Friend,
Thanks for stopping by.
'We all build so much up in our head, that for some trying to keep float is a struggle'. 'CAMPAIGN AGAINST LIVING MISERABLY (CALM)' a movement, that exists to change people taking their own lives. Just some stats to show, how important that we support this serious mental health issue. Close to 800 000 people die due to suicide every year, which is one person every 40 second. Every week 125 people in UK are victims of suicide of which 75% are male. The suicide death rates for females under 25 has increased by 93.8% with the highest during the pandemic.
It is very important that we are able to normalise talking about those struggles and get help when needed. CALM works to help support such victims 365 days a year, through their national helpline and web chat. They also support after 'suicide partnership' to help the victim's families. Please see thecalmzone.net for more information.
Now to the challenge on 3rd July 2021 -The event is 24 HOURS. It begins with a 2 mile run and then Every Hour On the Hour (EHOH) – I will run or walk 2 miles every hour and for the remaining hour as many reps of power cleans as possible(50% or 100% body weight) and yes we get scores too!
