Hey all, in memory of our amazing friend and brother, Harrison, we have decided to set ourselves a challenge of a fat cycle ride. For those who knew H knew how much he loved his bike and how he would pretty much cycle anywhere (including 50+ miles a day for Uber eats) but didn’t believe in bikes having breaks. We lost Harrison in December 2020 and a huge hole has been left in all of our lives, he was the most passionate, intelligent and loving man who really lit up a room. 

We will be cycling 225 miles from Manchester City Centre to the Monks Brook in C-Ford over three days. We will be starting in Manny on 23rd June 2021 and finishing in C-Ford on 25th June 2021, what would’ve been Harrison’s 24th birthday. In between this we will be stopping at the nations cultural capitals, Birmingham and Swindon. If you see us on our cycle please give us a honk or cheer!

In memory of Harrison, we have decided to raise money for Ripple. Ripple is an amazing tool which is designed to prevent individuals accessing harmful content, particularly that around suicide. Alice Hendy, the founder of Ripple, tragically also lost her younger brother to suicide 2 weeks before we lost Harrison. None of us are avid cyclers which is what’s going to make this page even greater. With diets predominantly consisting of oven pizzas and fosters, it is probably safe to say none of us are in peak physical condition, so be prepared for pulled muscles, back pain, the odd bit of vomit, and a lot of tears.
