Story

Hi guys,

As some of you may know, in October 2009 I got a blood clot in my left arm which broke away and went into my lungs. The ride since then has not be easy to say the least, but things are starting to pick up. I was lucky enough to have the support and care I needed, but not all those with this condition have been so lucky.

I've decided to organise a 10km run, to be done on the 12th of March, to raise money and awareness about this condition and it's affect on people. A short run for some but a big challenge for me.

I would really appreciate all your help and support, either by running with me or by making a donation - no donation is too small.

Through my illness I have become aware that this condition is often misdiagnosed and little understood and quality of care and treatment is patchy. Lifeblood is a charity that supports and raises funds to improve care and help fund research in this field - please help them in their aim! All donations will go straight to Lifeblood.
