Friends of Bellamy Big Cycle Challenge. 

Well, what can I say…..March 2023 Paul, my husband was diagnosed with Prostate Cancer! 😭 We was scared and had to learn very quickly what PSA (prostate-specific antigen) numbers meant, what a Gleason score was, what negative and positive margins are, what surgery entailed and the life changing effects of it, Radiotherapy…..the list is endless! 😔

How was we going to tell the children and try to stay positive! Paul did an amazing job at being strong, me however, I wasn’t so good at it, (I’m still learning how to do it). ❤️

Surgery took place in September, and we now wait to see the surgeon’s again later this month. Then we will know what our next steps are…where we go from here. 🥺

Being a part of Friends of Bellamy, everyone supported us, held our hands and are still doing so today! Because, that’s what friends do! 🥰

This is why we decided to do the big cycle challenge to raise as much money as we can to support Prostate Cancer UK, we have had many questions that needed answers and PCUK have been great. 😀
