Brighton Marathon 2021 · 12 September 2021 ·

HHA has been working in the developing world since 2006. Originally in Haiti alone but now in East Africa, Hope Health Action focuses its work on the most vulnerable groups in society to tackle poverty by reducing maternal and infant mortality and improving disability care and rehabilitation.

Story

On September 12th I'll be running the Brighton Marathon in memory of Noah.

I'll be running alongside a number of others for Hope Health Action to raise money for Noah's Funds. Noah's Fund was set up in memory of Noah, Carwyn and Reninca's precious son who tragically died on 29th March 2019.

Carwyn and Reninca co-founded HHA and in 2007 HHA started a hospital in Haiti which now cares for over 20,000 patients a year, providing life-saving care everyday.

With the funds raised, HHA plan to build a new Maternity and Neonatal Unit in Noah's memory. This new unit will dramatically improve the level of care HHA can provide, ensuring they can offer safe births and provide lifesaving neonatal support for babies.

HHA  also work in East Africa with the most vulnerable South Sudanese refugees now living in Ugandan settlements.

If you feel able to sponsor me, I'd be most grateful.
