Story

Thanks for taking time to visit my JustGiving page.

Can a dog walk the TT course?  Manxie Dog can! The latest challenge for Manxie Dog is to complete the TT course in reverse, all 37.74 miles of it in aid of Rebecca House Childrens Hospice (Charity number 317). Manxie Dog (powered by Jim Macgregor, a search dog handler and teacher at St Ninians High School) has previously completed the London Marathon, Snowdon Marathon and  the Parish Walk to Peel.

Search & Rescue Dogs Isle of MAN (SARDA IOM) team are supporting Rebecca House as many of their searches involve looking for vulnerable children and our charity supports the excellent work Rebecca House does for the community.

Manxie Dog will set off from the Grandstand in Douglas at 6.00am on Saturday 30th May.  The challenge involves walking the TT course in an anticlockwise direction tackling the mountain section first. Look out for the search dog van and of course Manxie Dog on the TT course.  As we are in usual times please be aware of social distancing.  These are difficult times for charities with fundraising and any donation given will be really appreciated.

Rebecca House Childrens Hospice provides essential care for children up to 18 years with life limiting and life threatening conditions.  The work they do is amazing and SARDA IOM are only too happy to support this amazing resource for the Isle of Man.

Donations through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving-they'll never sell them on or send unwanted e-mails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity.
