J(enny) A(da) M(aozi) C(harlene)an is a team of four Chinese girls who met in London. As four trailing-lovers, we decided to join this 100km challenge with Oxfam to support those who are in need while doing the thing we love.

This challenge is a 100km trek, which is the equivalent of 2.5 marathons, within 30 hours and climbing the equivalent of Ben Nevis and Snowdon combined over the South Downs in July 2016. For more info on this Trailwalker, please visit http://www.oxfam.org.uk/trailwalker.

We are four tiny creatures in this vast planet. But we believe small efforts can be powerful. No matter where we come from, no matter where we are, we want to share the sweetness of life with people who are in need. Just like a spoon of strawberry jam can draw a big smile on your face, our efforts and your lovely support can make a change to other people’s lives.

We are doing this for Oxfam and the Gurkha Welfare Trust, with their support throughout. We need your help to reach the team total of £1400.

Oxfam is working in over 90 countries to defeat poverty, respond to emergencies and lead development projects that tackle the root causes.  All of this is financed through individual giving so please be assured that however much you give it is making a real difference to someone.

The Gurkha Welfare Trust pays a welfare pension to Gurkha ex-servicemen & widows living in Nepal and provided community building & support work following the two devastating earthquakes in 2015.
