The PACE Centre - It's Challenge Time 2009 · 31 December 2009 ·
It is challenge time here at the PACE Centre. We are the staff team for Maple group, a group of 6 bright children who have cerebral palsy, aged 5 and 6. As a team we want to raise money for this wonderful charity that we have the pleasure of working for. Although we always think we work hard as the staff, it is nothing compared to the amount of effort and determination that the children have everyday they come into school. At PACE we give them the opportunities they might not get anywhere else.
One of the many things our children struggle with is walking, which we so often take for granted. So for our challenge, all 11 staff are going to walk 5 km in two groups, but to make it slightly more challenging we will do this with our legs all tied together to make a 6 and 7 legged race. We will be walking from Stone to Waddesdon on the 29th November. Please help by sponsoring us as we embark on our challenge. Every penny counts, and it will go towards giving these children a chance in life, and an education which they would not otherwise receive. We thank you for taking time to look at our page, and on behalf of all the children at PACE we say a huge thank you for your support.
