I DID IT!!!  I Ran the course in 49 mins!  Broke my 50 min estimated time!  Thanks so much for donating to this wonderful cause you are such lovely people!  And for those of you who would still like to, please do!  

Wooo hooo!  Hey!  Nice to see you!  I know I know!  Can you believe it???  Me - RUNNING??? - ok ok - jogging - slowly!  

As you may know - because you have seen me recently - or remember - because I have always been the same.... I have never been a "Runner" .  "Built for comfort, not for speed" , " I cant run because I will get black eyes!"  etc etc - you remember those sayings that I have bandied about quite a lot over the years.  

But guess what?!  I have been in training - yup - I actually put some trainers on, turned on my ipod and started to "run".  Pft - actually its more like a very slow jog,  BUT now I get to tick something off on my "bucket list" (learn to run) AND help out with a little bit of charity!    

Ok ok - I am not expecting to be Speedy Gonzalez, and I will probably crash in a very ungainly heap at the end, but I am going to have a go!

So, as you may imagine, this running lark is quite a new thing for me, and I was thinking what better way to celebrate this new experience/way of life , than to remember my absolutely lovely Aunty Susie - who also used to do the odd bit of jogging here and there.  

So, I was thinking that if you would like to sponsor me whilst I do this Race For Life,  that the money you donate would go to more research to maybe help someone be lucky enough to get through this Cancer thing.  

 My lovely Aunty Susie didn't make it - or she would surely be running with me, and she too, would be just as amazed as you are at the thought of me doing it, but we all know that every penny counts and there just might be a cure just waiting around the corner after a little more research.  So, if you fancy it, sponsor me!  

I'm joining the Race For Life 5k run in Windsor on the 7th of June - starting pistol goes off at 11am (gulp!)  ...
