Story

Hey.

For those of you that haven't already heard, I'm running London Marathon this year on behalf of Brathay Trust.

Ill be running  in memory of my close friend and all round great guy Matt Campbell.

Matty unexpectedly passed whilst participation in London Marathon last year. He was at the peak of physical fitness having just completed Manchester marathon in under 3 hours. Unfortunately in London he fell victim to an undiagnosed condition under 4 miles from the end.

Matty inspired almost 32,000 people to finish the race for him, as well as myself and plenty of his others to run in his memory this year.

I will be running for Brathay Trust. They are a great charity that aspire to improve the life chances of children, young people and families by inspiring them to engage in their communities.

It's a charity that was very close to Matty's, and his father Martins hearts

lease believe me this is not going to be an easy challenge. I've not been the biggest fan of running in the past and its going to be very difficult raining through the winter in the alps. .

Any support for myself and this incredible charity would be very appreciated.

We work with a wide range of young people, often with fewer opportunities in life, including those managing the transition from living in care to independence, at risk of exploitation in unhealthy relationships, needing confidence to find work or training, or facing other challenges in their lives.
