Life is too short to sit back and wait for other people to make a difference, so in my own small way I am trying to make a difference today.

Young people of today are the leaders of tomorrow and while I do not have the ability to work with them and guide them, I do have the ability to raise funds so that the right people can do the extremely hard but rewarding job of volunteering in the JLGB.

The JLGB has, and does, consistently train and work with the youth of today to help them grow into the type of young adults that we can all be proud of.   As with any charitable organisation they struggle to ‘make ends meet’ and I am happy in my own small way to assist them on this fundraising campaign – and I hope you will too.

There is a secondary thing that happens regularly within the JLGB family – kids grow up, become leaders, meet a partner and marry.   Another reason why it is a good charity to keep going!
