Flora London Marathon 2007 · 22 April 2007 ·

The Dockland Settlements has been supporting vulnerable, lonely or disadvantaged people since 1894. Currently we run three community centres, two pre and after-school playcare services and a food bank. We support our local communities but our focus is on the most vulnerable & isolated.

Story

Hello

I've foolishly agreed to run this year's London Marathon and, since you're here, I'm hoping you want to sponsor me.  Please do - the more I raise, the harder it'll be for me to chicken out.

I'm running for Dockland Settlements, a charity which is local to where I live and work and which has been providing support to people living in one of the most deprived parts of London for over 100 years.  It does excellent work - have a look at its website for more information:

http://www.docklandsettlements.org.uk/

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Dockland Settlements will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

So - please sponsor me!

Many thanks.

Dan
