Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
In December last year, my auntie Cheryl Griffiths sadly lost her battle with lung cancer.
In the months before Cheryl passed away, she received the help of Gwynedd and Anglesey Hospice at Home which gave fantastic support to her husband Ian and sons Arwyn and Gethin and enabled Cheryl to remain at home, surrounded by her family, for as long as possible.
Cheryl was a wonderful wife and mother, a great friend to many and possessed a larger than life personality. She fought bravely against the cancer until the very end and was an inspiration to all who knew her. Prior to her death, she agreed to take part in a fundraising campaign to help the Gwynedd and Anglesey Hospice at Home but sadly, became too unwell to follow through. I am now hoping to honour her memory by taking part in the Snowdonia marathon this year and raise funds for the charity in her place. The Snowdonia marathon is regarded by many runners to be one of the toughest marathons in Europe - and it will be my first! Any donations big or small will be gratefully received.
