Story

Some of our Marauders and their dogs are taking on the

'Walk 50 Miles in November Challenge'

to raise money for the Samaritans. Please show them your support by donating here. We've set ourselves a collective target of 300 miles and £600.

We have 6 'Guys 'n' Dogs' signed up for the challenge and here's little about each of them;

Rusty (and Bob) - Rusty is 4-year old Cavapoochon. He has very long legs and hence loves walks particularly in the woods where his favourite game is trying to get squirrels down from the trees by barking. Not a good tactic but he won't give up!

Barney (and John) - Two old timers, one in his 80th year the other in his 11th. Barney is a cross breed Bichon Frise and King Charles Cavalier spaniel. He is homely, cuddly, and friendly. Loves a good walk, eats for Wales and can stand his ground when challenged.

Alfie (and Nigel) - Alfie is a ball obsessed 6-year old Cockapoo who has found 310 balls in the last three years! He loves water and every opportunity to swim or wallow in it.

Molly (and Ed) - Molly is a Bearded Collie who's just turned 5-years old. A “Lockdown” dog so never got properly socialised when a pup. She's hyper aware so can spook herself with anything - and hates the Marauders drone; running a mile when 'Buzz' takes off! A whacky pup!

Will (and Lee) - Will is a 5-year old Cocker Spaniel who loves Waitrose dog sausages as a treat. He has an annoying habit of barking while looking through the front window at anybody that passes by; especially the Postman and he eats the mail when it comes through the letterbox!!

Billy (and Greg) - Billy is a Jack Russell Terrier/Yorkie cross, aged 4. Loves chicken, green beans and constant belly rubs. Dislikes pigeons, cold water and black labradors! Clever, mischievous, feisty but loving (just like his owner!) Totally ball obsessed. Can spot a squirrel at 100m. Can “play dead” on command for treats.
