I am doing this with my best friend “Rocket”, an amazing dog who has always been there for me.  I am walking the coastline of UK to raise money and awareness for Mind Uk.  An outstanding charity who have helped me before and helped a whole host of people, but there is only so much they can do without funding and support. 

I have found myself in a position and time in life where I am able to pay something back and do my bit.  We are starting in Folkestone and heading along the south coast, with nothing but the equipment on my back, basic supplies and excitement of the adventure to come. Over night we will be pitching our tent where ever we can and making the most of what ever supplies we have.  

During our epic walk we are relying on the good nature, kindness and generosity of the people along the way, from food and shelter  right through to support and encouragement.   There will be constant updates on Facebook “Marbz Walks the UK”, and Instagram “marbznrok8walktheuk”.   Please support us through our journey, the smallest of things can and will make a massive difference.  Share, comment, like, donate, drop us a message....... what ever you can will all be greatly appreciated.

So we have been going for just under two weeks, so i thought is was about time I updated things on here.

We started in Folkstone and have kept the blue stuff on our left, we have walked past and through alot of amazing and beautiful places, meeting some awesome people and making new friends.   It has not been easy, the energy sapping beach of Dungeness and the detours around the MOD ranges have taken their toll, but we are loving every minute of it.

We are now (22nd Jan) in Brighton, having one more rest day before heading back out and smashing more of the coastline.

Having covered 812 miles in just under 2 months, i slipped and injured my knee.  I have the last few months resting and getting the strength back in my knee.  I have also made the decision (due to the injury) that we will be doing this adventure in sections and also be combining walking with being pulled by Rocket on a scooter.

In July we will be back off, starting from Portland and continuing clockwise Long the south coast.
