Story
There is no one I know who can say they DO NOT have a friend
or relative who has battled this terrible illness. I have lost a very special family member who fought and lost a long battle with cancer and left a hole in our families life and an amazing friend who is also battling breast cancer and with out us supporting the research into this more people will fall victim to this disease.
Some of the world’s leading research is happening in Wales and in the pursuit of a cure, they are making vital progress into prevention, early diagnosis and better treatment, which will benefit cancer patients in
Wales and beyond.
I have been extremely lucky and have found a way I can help fight against the disease and that is by running the London Marathon to raise funds for Cancer research Wales. I am dedicating my run this year to all those I know who have cancer right now or have lost the battle. Supporting Cancer Research Wales with a goal to raise £3,000, with your kindness I hope will be a lot easier than the event itself. The money we raise goes to clinical and laboratory based cancer research in universities and hospitals across Wales where the breakthroughs are taking place.
Thank you in advance for your contribution. You have no idea
how much it means to me to have your support.
