Story

Hi all,

As you may be aware I have been training for the Paris Half Marathon on 3rd March for the last few months and I will be running in memory of Amy Goacher and for Saint Francis Hospice.

Amy lost her battle with ovarian cancer in October 2012 at the age of just 21 and spent the last 3 weeks of her life Being cared for by the amazing and wonderful staff at Saint Francis Hospice. We can never thank them enough got the care and support they gave to both Amy and her family.

Saint Francis Hospice provides specialist care for both patients and families, and is funded 80% by donations and need to raise £6.4 million each year.

Running is not a skill I have been naturally blessed with, however the thought of running for such a great cause will make sure I get across that finish line!
